Since its founding in 1964, Rolf Benz has designed and produced innovative upholstery in the Black Forest. Since August 2020, the international design brand has underscored this quality promise with a new certificate: ‘Furniture Made in Germany’. It is the first geographical origin certification mark for furniture and consumer goods recognised by the RAL German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification. Unlike most other upholstery manufacturers, ROLF BENZ consistently manufactures in a fully integrated process – including its own frame production facility – in the immediate vicinity of the company headquarters in Nagold, and holds the certificate for its entire upholstery collection.
